By Football Italy staff A former Chelsea and Juventus player is set to join Italian Serie A side Milan.
Giancarlos Del Pierolosi, who scored five goals in 25 appearances for the Blues between 2006 and 2011, will join the Rossoneri from Torino.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Rossonatoire, which is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
Del Pieroletti has made his name at both Chelsea and Inter Milan, scoring twice in his time with the Blues, as well as helping Italy reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup in 2010.
The youngster has been capped 20 times by Italy and scored a goal in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Belgium.
He was also part of Italy’s Euro 2012 squad and has featured in a number of domestic tournaments.
