According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the tests were conducted in the first week of March 2023 at test facilities located at the UR Rao Satellite Center in Bangalore.
These tests are an essential part of the qualification and acceptance process for any spacecraft.
These tests were particularly challenging considering the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was a composite of three modules. Propulsion Module, Lander Module and Rover Module.
Vibration and acoustic tests on the integrated spacecraft have provided considerable confidence on structural integrity and survivability in the launch environment, ISRO said.
