ISRO Recruitment 2023: Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota (SDSC SHAR), It is a major hub for the Indian Space Research Organization and India’s spaceport. SDSC has announced a recruitment 2023 drive for the post of SHAR Medical Officer (General Surgery). As per the ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate for the post must have a MBBS degree with MS/DNB in General Surgery, recognized and registered with Medical Council of India/State/National Medical Commission. For the role candidate should have work experience in General Surgery department in a reputed hospital.
According to the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be posted at the SDSC SHAR campus in Sriharikota and will be responsible for providing medical care to employees, their families and others as required. As per CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 this position falls under Level 11 of the pay matrix and offers Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) @ 20% of Basic Pay along with other allowances like DA, HRA and Transport Allowance. . The candidate will be governed by the National Pension System and will get free transportation, limited accommodation facilities, library facilities, holiday travel concessions, group insurance and subsidized canteen facilities among others. The last date to apply for the post is March 7, 2023, and the application fee is INR 250, which is non-refundable.

Salary for ISRO Recruitment 2023:
As per the ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the salary of the selected candidate will be Level 11 of Pay Matrix. In addition to the basic pay, the candidate will also be eligible for Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) at 20% of the basic pay.
Other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance will be payable as per Central Government rules.
Note: Selected candidates will be governed by National Pension System. ISRO provides free transportation (in lieu of transportation allowance), limited accommodation facility (in lieu of HRA), library facility, house building advance, holiday travel concession, group insurance and subsidized canteen facilities subject to certain terms and conditions. Selection Process for ISRO Recruitment 2023:
As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the selection process for the job involves an interview. Candidates have to apply online and only those who fulfill the minimum eligibility and other parameters will be screened for interview.
Final selection will be based on performance in interview. Candidates securing minimum 60% marks in interview will be considered for enrollment in order of merit. Candidates are required to produce originals of all certificates and testimonials in support of the details entered in the online application at the time of interview. Candidates with foreign degrees must ensure that their degrees are valid and duly approved by the National Medical Commission of India.
Application Fee for ISRO Recruitment 2023:
As per ISRO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the application fee for this recruitment is 250/- per application, which is non-refundable. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen category are exempted from payment of application fee.
Fees can be paid online only through Debit Card or Internet Banking. If a candidate is unable to pay within the stipulated date and time (ie, 17.00 hours on 07.03.2023), He/she can pay the fee till next day of closing of online application registration (i.e., 1700 hours on 08.03.2023) By clicking on ‘Make Payment’ option available in the online recruitment portal.
No other form of payment will be accepted. Please note that SDSC SHAR shall not be responsible for pending transaction or transaction failure or any such issues. Candidates are advised to register their application and pay in advance without waiting for the last date.

To apply for the recruitment process, interested and eligible candidates need to follow the given steps:
- Visit the SDSC SHAR website from 15.02.2023 (10:00 hrs) to 07.03.2023 (17:00 hrs).
- Register for an account on the website and generate login credentials.
- Fill the application form with correct and relevant details.
- Pay the application fee online before 08.03.2023 (17:00 hrs).
- Submit the application before the due date (07.03.2023).
- After successful submission, the candidate will be allotted a registration number, which should be kept carefully for future reference.
