A preview of this Nilavinte NereyanFormer Chairman of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) G. A documentary on Madhavan Nair and the space program was held here on Thursday.
ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, Dr. Madhavan Nair and senior ISRO officials were present at the preview held at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valliamala.
The 40-minute documentary, which covers major breakthroughs in India’s space program during Dr. Madhavan Nair’s career, including the Chandrayaan-1 Moon mission, is directed by Kanjirampara Ravi, a former ISRO employee. The work also has an alternative English title, Life without borders.
Jeevan Chaka edited the work and Ashwin SR handled the camera. Narrated by Bimal Das.
Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Center S. Unnikrishnan Nair, Liquid Propulsion System Center (LPSC) Director V. Narayanan and former VSSC director M. Chandradathan, was present at the preview.
Mr. Ravi also directed six documentaries including two on Carnatic musician Parasala B. Ponnammal and Gandhian Gopinathan are on Nair.
