ISRO Young Scientist Program Registration 2023: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is organizing a special program called “Young Scientist Programme” for school children, Yuvika, to teach young students the fundamentals of space technology, space science and space applications. The registration process will start on March 20, 2023. Last date of submission ISRO YUVIKA Application Form 2023 3 April. ISRO will release the first shortlist on April 10. ISRO Young Scientist Program Registration 2023 Selection Process
The selection of participants in YUVIKA-2023 will be based on the following parameters:
| Marks obtained in Class 8th or last examination conducted (Students) | 50% |
| Performance in online quizzes | 10% |
| Participation in Science Fair (School/District/State and above in last 3 years) | 2/5/10% |
| Rank or equivalent in Olympiad (Rank 1 to 3 in school/district/state and above level in last 3 years) | 2/4/5% |
| Winners of Sports Competitions (Rank 1 to 3 at School/District/State and above level in last 3 years) | 2/4/5% |
| Member of Scout and Guide / NCC / NSS in last 3 years | 5% |
| Studying in village/rural schools located in Panchayat area | 15% |
ISRO Young Scientist Program Registration 2023: How to Apply Online?
- Visit the official website of ISRO YUVIKA isro.gov.in/YUVIKA.html.
- On the homepage, click on the link that says, “Click here on “YUVIKA 2023 Registration Link” to register for YUVIKA – 2023.”
- You will be redirected to a new webpage.
- Register yourself and fill the application form.
- Submit the form and take a printout of it for future reference.
“Expenses for travel of selected students only (II AC train fare or AC (including Volvo) State Government bus fare or authorized transport from nearest railway station/bus terminal to reporting center and back). The student has to produce original travel ticket for payment of travel fare from concerned ISRO center. If the student is not traveling in II AC train (II AC class), the maximum fare reimbursement will be limited to II AC train fare only,” reads the official website.
