Visakhapatnam: To stop drowning deaths at various beaches in the city, the police plans to enlist the help of scientists from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to create awareness among visitors. as ISRO 175 beaches are predicted across the country to tear Currents, the police are thinking of using their services in addition to taking security measures at the beach.

City police chief Ch Srikanth recently held a meeting with ISRO scientists Sursety Arun Kumar and others and sought their help and advice to stop drowning deaths at city beaches. The police chief inquired about their research at Rishikonda and requested to research other beaches as well. “The police commissioner has asked us to mark rip current zones on other beaches. But more funds are needed to conduct research. The Commissioner is very focused on ensuring the safety of beach visitors,” said Arun Kumar.
