Former ISRO chairman K Sivan said on Monday that students should aspire to be entrepreneurs in space.
After receiving the ‘For the Sake of Honor Award’ from Rotary International District 3203, Pollachi, he said at a function organized at a private engineering college in Pollachi, 35 km from here, that efforts are making a difference in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country a world leader in various fields.

The central government has taken a lot of efforts to revitalize the academic-startup-eco system and it is really helpful for entrepreneurs. Considering this, students should aspire to be entrepreneurs and even step into the space infrastructure market, which has great potential to provide advancement to both nations and innovative solution providers, said Sivan.
Sivan dedicated the award to his team at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), as it was because of them that all the achievements he had achieved were possible.
